a post valentine blog…

okay, so i had another dateless and boring valentine’s day…

but what was more horrifying was to be reminded of that fact…

feb. 14, 7pm, i was riding a tricycle and the driver asked me if someone gave me roses…

of course i said no, but he asked again!…

three times he asked the same question and added, "Luoya pud nimo uy!"…

i was so crushed that time that i wanted to confiscate his driver’s license!…

and i thought for a second, "he doesn’t have one!" (stupid me)…

he then said, "Ngano man, gwapa man ka?"…

manong driver, thanks for appreciating!…

but then, kahit anong bawi mo chaka pa rin!…

you caused me so much pain! (char lang!)…

so what if no one cared to give me a damn rose?!…

anyway, i bought myself a yummy chocolate cake and plenty of pinipig polvoron that night!…

at least I did not have to disturb anyone from his busy life just to treat me on a date!…
